Meta has unveiled Horizon Create and Horizon Studio, two generative AI tools that let users craft playable 2D and 3D games from text prompts. Horizon Create is a mobile app for quick, on‑the‑go creation, while Horizon Studio is a web‑based platform offering finer control over difficulty, art direction, and progression systems. Both tools run on the Meta Horizon Engine and enable publishing across Meta’s social apps, including Facebook and Instagram.

Horizon VP Saxs Persson described the workflow: users input an idea in natural language, and the system builds a functional game with depth, allowing subsequent tweaks via additional prompts. The announcement follows earlier hints of a Horizon Create app discovered in August, but Meta has not yet disclosed availability dates or specific device requirements.
