York Knights end debut Super League season with win over Bradford

York Knights finished their maiden Super League season with a 35-16 home victory over bottom-placed Bradford Bulls at the LNER Community Stadium on Thursday, 10th September. The win secured a 10th-place finish for York in their first top-flight campaign. Paul Vaughan marked his retirement with a late drop goal, sparking celebrations from teammates.

York opened the scoring through Ryan Sutton for Bradford, but responded with tries from Scott Galeano, Ben Jones-Bishop, Toa Mata'afa, Jesse Dee, Xavier Va'a, and David Nofoaluma. Cody Hunter converted six of York's seven tries. Bradford scored through Sutton, Riley Dean, and Jayden Okunbor, with Chris Atkin adding two conversions.
