Wigan Warriors clinched Super League's League Leaders' Shield with a 50-12 win over Catalans Dragons, keeping their treble hopes alive.

Wigan scored nine tries through Harry Smith, Liam Marshall (two), Brad O'Neill, retiring Liam Farrell, Austin Daniel, Jai Field, Zach Eckersley and Adam Keighran, who added 14 points with the boot.

The only other contender, Leeds Rhinos, lost 18-12 at home to Hull FC, ensuring Wigan took top spot. Wigan won the Challenge Cup in May and now target the Grand Final at Old Trafford on October 3.

Wigan and Leeds have a week off before home semi-finals on September 25 and 26. Player of the match Keighran said: "We spoke about going into the Play-Offs with a bit of momentum and that was the perfect way to do it."
