Johnny Fisher faced off with Michael Pirotton outside the Copper Box Arena ahead of their heavyweight fight this Saturday, live on Sky Sports. The fighters shook hands, but Fisher hit back at the Belgian's claim his mind was "broke".

Pirotton relishes his outsider status, insisting all pressure is on home favourite Fisher. The "Romford Bull" rejected any suggestion of mental frailties. "Look at my last fight [against Ivan Balaz], if I had mental frailties, I wouldn't have got back up and won the fight in the fourth round," Fisher told Sky Sports. "Boxing's a tough game, it's tough mentally. You have to be in charge of your brain and I'm in charge of mine."

Fisher acknowledged the weight of expectation and the threat Pirotton poses. "Pirotton deserves my utmost respect. He's going to be a tough fight," he said. "I've been training extremely hard and prediction-wise, I'm going to get the win, whether it's a 10-round job or a one-round knockout."
