Ferrari has reaffirmed its "full confidence" in Frederic Vasseur as team principal following speculation sparked by Christian Horner's comments. In a hastily arranged media briefing on Tuesday ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, a Ferrari spokeswoman declared the company had made its choices and stood by Vasseur. The statement came after Horner, in an interview with “The Times,” suggested he would consider returning to the pit-wall for Ferrari without requiring an ownership stake.

Vasseur, in his fourth season since joining from Sauber in 2023, signed a multi-year contract extension last year. The spokesperson emphasized Ferrari's position remains unchanged despite persistent rumors, stating the team must focus on the weekend ahead. Vasseur admitted the squad was "not working in perfect serenity" due to the frustrating speculation.
