Celtic Fight Back To Beat St Mirren 3-1

Celtic came from behind to maintain their winning start to the Scottish Premiership title defence as St Mirren suffered their first defeat of the season. St Mirren made the perfect start when Nikolas Agrafiotis converted a penalty after Liam Scales' handball. Celtic thought they had equalised quickly, but Camilo Duran's goal was ruled out for offside after a VAR check.

Callum Mc Gregor, Hussain Hassan and Hyun Jun Yang all missed gilt-edged chances before Scales headed home from Mika Baur's corner to level the scores. Duran then set up Yang to calmly finish beyond keeper Jacob Chapman to complete the turnaround. St Mirren had late chances to level, but Celtic held firm.

New signing Shim Mhueka thought he had netted his first goal in stoppage time, but he too was ruled offside. It is five out of five for the champions as they move five points clear at the top of the table.
