The Boston Bruins have signed forward Fraser Minten to a seven-year, $50.4 million extension. In his first full season, Minten had 17 goals and 18 assists and was fifth on the team with 142 hits. He was acquired from the Maple Leafs in the Brandon Carlo trade in March 2025.

Bruins general manager Don Sweeney praised Minten's hockey sense, competitiveness, responsible two-way game, and offensive growth, calling the deal a mutual long-term commitment. The 22-year-old led all NHL rookies in plus-minus last year at plus-21 and primarily played the third center role while getting occasional time on the second power play.
