Despite the setbacks, Saleh stressed the importance of stability, pointing out Ward has had seven coordinators over seven years. The Titans organization, which has fired a coach or GM annually since 2022, is granting Ward patience as he enters his second season. Ward, who threw for 140 yards on 19-of-32 passing, believes he can improve with continued coaching from offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and Tierney.

While fellow second-year QBs like Tyler Shough and Jaxson Dart found early success, Saleh is fully committed to Ward's development throughout the year.
