The Green Bay Packers have signed veteran guard Kevin Zeitler to a one-year deal as part of an in-season overhaul of their struggling offensive line. Zeitler, the No. 27 pick in the 2012 NFL draft, brings extensive experience, having played in 214 career games. The move follows the signings of Laken Tomlinson and Mekhi Becton, as the Packers address severe early-season struggles.

Green Bay ranks last in the NFL in rushing yards per game (48.7) and has the league's worst pass block win rate (16%) through three games. The team lost right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele to a season-ending injury, prompting the rapid revamping under general manager Brian Gutekunst. Zeitler, a Wisconsin native who played for the Tennessee Titans last season, started 16 games and recorded a 92.2 pass block win rate.

Offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich indicated that the new additions could play in the upcoming game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
