Giants' Nabers Full Practice, Status TBD

Malik Nabers was a full participant in Wednesday's practice as the New York Giants prepare for their season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. It's another positive step in his recovery from a torn ACL last season, but coach John Harbaugh remains noncommittal about his status.

"We'll find out Sunday night," Harbaugh said. Nabers has made steady progress throughout the summer, shedding the no-contact jersey and taking full reps. "I think he's ready to go," Harbaugh added, though he stopped short of confirming Nabers will play.

The Giants also listed Andrew Thomas, Shelby Harris, and Theo Johnson as full participants on the first injury report. The team released veteran Darius Slayton earlier this week, leaving only four wide receivers on the active roster, which could increase Nabers' importance if he plays.

Harbaugh declined to reveal any lineup decisions, saying, "I'm not going to tell you who's playing... that's not the competitive interests of our football team." Nabers hasn't played since Week 4 of last year, and his availability remains a key storyline heading into Sunday night.
