The Washington Commanders ruled out guard Sam Cosmi and safety Nick Cross for their Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts in London. Both players were injured in Week 2 at Dallas—Cosmi with a concussion and Cross with an internal injury requiring surgery and an overnight hospital stay. They did not travel with the team.

Three other starters—quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow), tight end Chig Okonkwo (hamstring), and linebacker Frankie Luvu (groin)—did make the trip and are expected to practice at least partially this week. Daniels is week-to-week and has resumed throwing; Marcus Mariota would start if he cannot play. If Luvu is unavailable, Kain Medrano would start alongside rookie Sonny Styles, both of whom intercepted a pass in the win over Seattle, with Medrano returning his for a touchdown.

Leo Chenal fractured his neck in that game, and Jordan Magee remains on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. With Cosmi out, Nick Allegretti is expected to start at right guard, with veteran Lucas Patrick at center, who played through an ankle injury in the Seattle win.
