The Arizona Cardinals have signed wide receiver Michael Wilson to a three-year extension worth $75 million, with a maximum value of $78 million, the team announced Thursday. Wilson will receive $47 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Coach Mike La Fleur praised the deal, saying, "It's great for the Cardinals. It's great for his teammates, this locker room. It's good for our fanbase." Wilson called the extension a "culmination of everyone believing in me and pouring into me," adding, "I don't look at this as the end. This is the beginning of something great."

Wilson signed at the team's practice facility in Tempe with his mother, Ngaire, and daughter. He credited his parents, who immigrated from Jamaica and New Zealand, saying, "This is a big win for them and for their story." The deal, negotiated over months, keeps Wilson under contract through the 2029 season at $25 million per year, tied for 20th among wide receivers.

Wilson is coming off his best season in 2025, surpassing 1,000 yards for the first time with 1,006 yards. Talks reignited Wednesday after stalling, and Wilson expressed excitement, saying, "I couldn't even sleep last night. I was just so excited."
