National League & American League Updates
Dodgers' two-way star Shohei Ohtani impressed in his spring mound debut, delivering 4 strikeouts across 4⅓ scoreless innings while touching 99 mph, though he also issued two walks and allowed one hit. Contrasting the good news in Los Angeles, the Brewers' rotation plans hit a snag as left-hander Kyle Harrison departed his start early due to a blister developing on his left index finger, putting his immediate availability in question. In Boston roster news, Caleb Durbin secured the starting third base job for Opening Day following his offseason acquisition from Milwaukee, while Triston Mayer is positioned to handle second base duties for the Red Sox.
