Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), the world’s fifth‑largest private equity investor, has resumed its annual practice of increasing its allocation range after a five‑year freeze. In its 2025 annual report released on Thursday, ADIA set a minimum private equity allocation of 15 percent and a cap of 20 percent. This marks a bullish shift for the sovereign wealth fund, signaling renewed confidence in private equity despite last year’s unchanged limits.

The move reflects ADIA’s strategy to balance risk and return across its global portfolio.
