Veridian Healthcare, backed by Health Edge Investment Partners and United Western Group, has completed the acquisition of the Scar Science brand and related assets from Mitchell-Vance Laboratories.

Mitchell-Vance Laboratories, based in Guilford, Connecticut, develops over-the-counter scar treatment and preventive products. Scar Science is its line of medical-grade silicone scar sheets and gel serums for reducing the appearance and texture of scars.

Based in Gurnee, Illinois, Veridian Healthcare provides consumer health products, home diagnostics and remote patient monitoring technologies across retail, e-commerce and professional healthcare markets nationwide. Health Edge and United Western invested in the company in 2023.
