Main Capital Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Confirma Software, a Stockholm‑based vertical software platform, in partnership with the company’s management team and key employees. Founded in 2019, Confirma serves more than 25,000 SME and municipal customers across Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark, operating in ERP, payments, financial, quality management and business process software. The company employs about 540 people and supports critical financial, operational and compliance processes, including accounting, payroll, point‑of‑sale and receivables management.

Main will back Confirma’s buy‑and‑build strategy, focusing on strengthening operational capabilities, expanding its Nordic presence and pursuing growth in selected European markets. With over €12 billion in assets under management, Main’s portfolio includes more than 55 software companies employing roughly 15,000 people. Wessel Ploegmakers, partner and head of Nordics at Main, highlighted Confirma’s strong market position and growth potential.

The deal awaits regulatory approvals.
