InTandem Capital-backed Ivy Fertility has acquired Santa Barbara Fertility Center for undisclosed terms. Founded in 2008 by reproductive endocrinologist Rene Allen, who will continue practicing there, the center joins Ivy Fertility's network.

The acquisition brings Ivy Fertility's network to 70 physicians across 17 practices in nine states. Five additional physicians join clinics in California, Texas, Utah and Nevada: Abigail Armstrong (San Diego Fertility Center), Archana Ayyar (Dallas IVF), Tolulope Bakare (Dallas IVF and Utah Fertility Center), Kristi Maas (Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine), and Irene Peregrin-Alvarez (Utah Fertility Center).

The move strengthens Ivy Fertility's geographic reach and adds male fertility care capabilities. Ivy Fertility is a San Diego-based operator of fertility clinics.
