Bertram Capital has made an undisclosed investment in Starc Systems, a manufacturer of reusable temporary construction wall systems. The deal represents Bertram’s sixth platform investment in Bertram Capital V. Founded in Maine, Starc sold its first product in 2014 and has grown from an alternative to traditional temporary drywall into a nationwide provider serving contractors and facility owners across healthcare, airports, data centers and other complex construction environments.

The company has sustained approximately 30 percent annual revenue growth and now employs about 140 people. In May 2026, Starc opened a new 107,000-square-foot manufacturing and operations facility in Brunswick, Maine, expanding its production, warehousing and logistics capabilities. Starc has “established itself as a leader in reusable temporary containment for occupied construction environments,” said Chris Brown, partner at Bertram Capital. “The company’s success reflects a differentiated product portfolio, deep technical expertise in containment performance, and long-standing relationships with many of the country’s leading general contractors, healthcare providers, airport operators, and rental partners.
