Leaks from WinFuture reveal the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset, replacing the Dimensity 9400+ and 9300+ used in predecessors. MediaTek did not release a 9500+ variant this year. The Tab S12+ loses its ultra-wide camera, retaining only a 13MP wide sensor, while the Ultra keeps dual 12MP wide and 8MP ultra-wide rear cameras plus a 12MP selfie camera in a display notch.

The Ultra maintains a 5.1mm thickness and 11,600mAh battery, while the Plus gets a 10,600mAh battery (up from 10,090mAh) and slims to 5.3mm. Both support 45W charging. EPREL labels show batteries rated for 1,200 charge cycles.

Battery life ratings show the Ultra at 88:54h (down from 94:51h) and the Plus at 80:34h (up from 73:44h). European pricing starts at €1,300 for the Tab S12+ Wi-Fi 12/256GB and €1,540 for the Ultra equivalent, representing a €200 increase over the Tab S11 Ultra. Samsung is expected to unveil the series on October 7.
