Today Bose has unveiled the new Sport Open Earbuds and the Ultra Open Earbuds. Both are designed to create more listening moments across active pursuits and everyday life. The second-generation Ultra Open Earbuds represent Bose's new flagship open-ear experience, while the Sport Open Earbuds offer a more affordable option.

The Ultra Open Earbuds feature a newly engineered driver delivering deeper bass and higher volume than the first-gen model. Snapdragon Sound support includes apt X Adaptive for high-quality audio. Speech Clarity technology keeps calls clear, while Auto Volume adjusts to environmental fluctuations. Cinema Mode, powered by Bose True Spatial technology, creates a wider, immersive soundstage.

The Sport Open Earbuds are built for running, fitness, and outdoor activities, prioritizing stability and comfort with textured physical buttons. They have custom-designed dynamic drivers delivering full, balanced audio and are IP54 rated for dust, sweat, and splash resistance. Both models use Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint connectivity and support Google Fast Pair.

The Sport Open Earbuds are priced at $199, while the Ultra Open Earbuds cost $299. Both become available on October 1, with pre-orders starting September 19. A future firmware update will enable Google Find Hub, Alexa+, and Apple Music shortcut support.
