Apple Apple Pay is reportedly set to launch in India by the end of October, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter. The service is currently available in more than 90 countries worldwide.

A recent Reuters report claimed that Apple will initially roll out Apple Pay in partnership with Axis Bank credit cards. The report also noted that Apple has been in discussions with HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank to add their credit cards to the service.

An earlier Bloomberg report suggested that Apple Pay could also support UPI in India. India is one of the world’s largest digital payments markets, with established services such as Google Pay and Phone Pe already widely used across the country.
