Yamaha has introduced the compact B200A soundbar, a small, few-frills audio solution featuring Dolby Atmos support. Measuring 23.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches high, the B200A is designed for space-saving setups, whether wall-mounted or placed below a desktop display for immersive gaming audio. It will be available in November for $250.

Despite its size and modest driver configuration—two speakers plus a built-in subwoofer—Yamaha claims the B200A delivers '3D immersive sound' through Dolby Atmos processing. The built-in subwoofer enhances low frequencies, supported by a 'Bass Extender' option. The soundbar includes four preset listening modes and Clear Voice technology to improve dialogue clarity.

Connectivity consists of a single HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth for phone streaming. While lacking advanced features, its simplicity and affordable price make it an accessible entry point into Dolby Atmos audio for TV, gaming, or music enthusiasts.
