IFA 2026: Anker’s AI Expansion

Anker is leaning heavily into AI at IFA this year, starting with the Soundcore Space 2 Pro headphones, which bring the company’s dedicated AI chip to active noise cancellation and adaptive audio. The new MindBase hub doubles as a smart home controller, NAS, and security guard, using AI to monitor connected devices. On the charging front, nearly all of Anker’s new combo chargers and power banks now feature built-in displays, with several capable of powering multiple devices simultaneously. Meanwhile, Eufy’s security-focused lineup includes new cameras, a robot vacuum, and a lawnmower, all integrated with the company’s AI ecosystem.

Alienware unveiled its fastest gaming monitor ever: a 25-inch QD-OLED panel with a 560Hz refresh rate, targeting esports enthusiasts. In the smartphone space, vivo officially revealed the camera specs for its upcoming X500 series, which includes a Sony LYT-828 sensor across the base, Pro, and Pro Max models, set to launch in China this month. Indian brand Mivi is entering the smartphone market with the Mivi One 5G, following Fire-Boltt’s recent debut, as the local budget segment heats up.

Battery Innovation

Samsung is taking a cautious approach to silicon-carbon batteries in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra, redesigning the battery architecture rather than simply swapping in the new anode material. The company says the layered design improves safety and cycle life, addressing concerns about silicon expansion during charging.
