The result, dated September 18, 2026, identifies a "Mac18,6" with one processor and 18 cores split into clusters of six and 12 cores, alongside a 4.78GHz base frequency and 48GB of memory.

If genuine, the M6 Pro scores 4,150 single-core and 37,565 multi-core. The single-core figure aligns closely with the leaked M6 Mac mini score of 4,071, while the multi-core result surpasses the M6 Mac mini's 22,783 and edges past the M5 Pro's 33,595, reflecting faster cores and higher core counts.

However, the benchmark's authenticity remains unverified, as Geekbench entries can be faked. This development contradicts reporting from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who claimed in June and July that the M6 era would last only six months with no M6 Pro, M6 Max, or M6 Ultra releases, and that Apple would accelerate the M7 launch to the first half of 2027.
