Xiaomi is making its debut at IFA with its largest overseas exhibition space to date, spanning 3,300 square meters. The company is showcasing its Human x Car x Home portfolio, which includes over 300 devices ranging from smart home appliances to cars like the SU7 Max and YU7. Central to the display is the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold, a wide foldable smartphone positioned as a direct competitor to the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

The device features a triple-camera system, a deep red finish, and is powered by Xiaomi’s in-house XRING 03 chipset, enhanced for on-device AI and claimed to rival the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Apple’s latest silicon. Xiaomi CMO Xu Fei emphasized that the company’s expansion into smart home, vehicles, and AI is unified through Hyper OS, the backbone of its interconnected ecosystem. The Xiaomi 18 Fold is set to launch on September 7, with hands-on impressions suggesting strong performance and camera advantages over Samsung’s offering.

The showcase highlights Xiaomi’s vision of seamless AI-driven connectivity across devices, from home lighting and climate control to automotive integration.
