Metlen Energy & Metals signed a long-term agreement with Malaysia’s Petronas to import and supply liquefied natural gas to Greece. The London-listed industrial and energy company announced the pact on Monday.

Petronas’s U.K. subsidiary, Petco Trading, will deliver six LNG cargoes annually—about 0.6 billion cubic meters a year—over five years from 2027.

Metlen said the partnership will provide an alternative, stable, long-term source of natural gas. It will enhance supply security, meet internal energy needs, and address broader European gas demand amid continuing regional energy uncertainty.
