Thirty-four days before Elizabeth Holmes reported to prison for her 11-year sentence, she invited a camera crew into her Southern California home to clear her name. She chose Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim to document her life, leading to a three-year odyssey and the three-hour documentary 'You Can See Everything.' The film premiered secretly at the Telluride Film Festival and will debut theatrically via A24 on Oct. 16. It features intense, close-up conversations between Fielder and Holmes, including revelations that Holmes and her partner Billy Evans plan to launch a 'new and improved Theranos' while she serves time at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas.

The documentary uses innovative recreations for off-camera moments and includes a surprise plot point. Fielder expressed confusion about his role, stating he struggled to understand what he experienced. Holmes previously declined to participate in other documentaries like 'The Inventor' and 'Valley of Hype,' or the Hulu series 'The Dropout,' but did cooperate with a May 2023 New York Times article by Amy Chozick, which she and Evans dispute.

The film challenges the documentary genre and captures the absurdity and tension of Holmes’s final months before incarceration.
