Deloitte reported record annual revenues of $74.5bn, a 3.8% increase in constant currency for the 12 months to May 31, down from 4.8% a year earlier. The slowdown was driven by its technology and transformation consulting unit, which grew only 2.5% versus 4.7% previously, while advisory on strategy, risk and transactions rose 4.4% versus 5.5%. Audit and tax lines outperformed consulting, growing faster than the prior year.

The firm now employs almost 500,000 people globally, up from about 470,000 in May 2025. Deloitte plans to invest $3bn by the end of 2030 to modernise its business and develop AI‑enabled services. CEO Joe Ucuzoglu said organisations continue to trust Deloitte to navigate technology‑fuelled disruption.

Asia Pacific was the fastest‑growing region on a constant‑currency basis. Rivals such as Accenture have seen shares fall as investors question near‑term AI implementation and long‑term pricing pressure on consulting.
