London IPO Pipeline Shows Revival with Mining Listings

The London IPO pipeline is suddenly having a banner day. Abenojar Tungsten, a Spanish mining firm, is also considering listing in London this year, according to Bloomberg's ECM reporter Pablo Mayo Cerqueiro. While London is light on tech stocks, it is heavy on miners, making it a more attractive place for those companies to float.

So far this year, London IPOs have raised around $686 million, most of which was down to Uz NIF, the Uzbekistan national investment fund, which listed in the spring. Along with Abenojar and today's Airtel Money, wealth manager Utmost Money is also reportedly considering an IPO by the end of the year.

If they all materialise, that would go some way to turning around the currently dour narrative for London's market.
