KKR & Co. doubled the amount of private investment-grade financing it structured this year, reflecting growing demand from companies seeking flexible borrowing options. The firm structured or syndicated more than $80 billion of deals in the first half of the year, according to a presentation seen by Bloomberg. As of Sept. 1, KKR doubled the amount it originated in all of 2025.

Chris Sheldon, KKR’s co-head of credit and markets, said insurance capital anchored many of those transactions. KKR raised $15 billion so far this year for credit from third parties, up 29% from the same period in 2025. The firm structured deals for borrowers including Kuwait Petroleum Corp., Enbridge Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. KKR has $293 billion of credit assets under management, including $139 billion in private credit, according to the presentation.
