The Ethiopian Securities Exchange has granted in-principle approval for 11 new listings, nearly tripling the number of publicly traded firms if all proceed. CEO Yodit Kassa announced the first firm, operating in financial services, will begin trading next week. She disclosed this in an interview in Nairobi without naming the company.
