Truelink Capital has completed the acquisition of JT Thorpe Group, a North American provider of specialty industrial maintenance and thermal management services. The Los Angeles firm is backing JT Thorpe’s existing management, led by chief executive Kevin Howard, who will retain a significant ownership stake and continue to run the business. The purchase marks the third platform investment for Truelink’s second fund.

Truelink sees “a long runway for JT Thorpe, both organically and through strategic M&A,” according to Co-Founder and Managing Partner Luke Myers. “Kevin Howard and his team have built a business that is incredibly durable and hard to replicate, and we’re excited to officially kick off our partnership with them and together drive the next phase of growth,” he said.
