L Catterton and Altas Partners have agreed to acquire a majority stake in Fullscript, the North American whole-person care platform, from HGGC and Snapdragon Capital Partners. Founded in 2011, Fullscript runs an integrated platform that gives practitioners access to data, diagnostic resources, and clinical tools, spanning supplement recommendations and fulfilment, laboratory management, wearable health data integration, and patient adherence features. More than 135,000 practitioners now use the platform to support care for 10 million patients a year across North America.

The convergence of conventional and functional medicine is happening at a rapid pace, said Marc Magliacano, managing partner at L Catterton. He said that a growing numbers of Americans are seeking trusted education and treatment to manage chronic conditions and prevent disease, and that the firm looked forward to helping build the most trusted and independent brand in all of whole-health care. Rajan Shah, a partner at L Catterton, added that the firm would put its network and operating resources behind the business to deepen practitioner support, and help more patients take a proactive approach to extending their healthspan.

HGGC and Snapdragon are exiting after backing Fullscript through a period of rapid expansion. HGGC said its ownership had supported the company’s evolution into a leading platform for practitioners, including investments in clinical support, technology, and growth initiatives, and expressed confidence that the incoming owners were well placed to support the next phase. Fullscript’s 2024 acquisition of Rupa Health added advanced laboratory ordering and management tools, while a January 2026 tie-up with Oura brought wearable biometric data into clinical workflows.

In April 2026 the company launched Fullscript Journeys, a more consumer-facing health experience, and University Hospitals recently became the latest major health system to integrate the platform into its Epic electronic health record workflow. Altas and L Catterton share our conviction in where healthcare is headed, and their investment and experience will help us accelerate that vision, said Chief executive and co-founder Kyle Braatz, while thanking HGGC and Snapdragon for their support over the past five years.
