Former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio is auctioning his 2003 Rugby World Cup winner’s medal following his bankruptcy declaration. The 54-year-old is selling multiple career memorabilia, with the World Cup medal estimated at £50,000–£80,000 and the entire collection valued at £180,000. Items include a British and Irish Lions cap, a 1993 World Cup Sevens medal, and a 2003 Six Nations medal.

Dallaglio, a key figure in England’s dramatic 2003 World Cup victory over Australia, cited divorce and financial struggles as reasons for his bankruptcy. He admitted to seeking therapy after falling into self-pity. The auction, held at Budd’s in Northamptonshire, is scheduled for 13 October.
