The 10th edition of the Women's World Cup will take place in Brazil from 24 June to 25 July 2027. Eight venues, all previously used for the men's 2014 World Cup, will host matches. This is the second and final tournament with 32 teams, before the 2031 edition expands to 48.

Brazil have already qualified as hosts. Current champions Spain beat England in the 2023 final to win their first title. In Europe, 53 nations competed in qualifying between March and June 2026, split into three leagues based on the 2025 Uefa Women's Nations League.

Denmark, France, Spain and Germany earned direct qualification as League A group winners. The remaining League A teams, including England and the Republic of Ireland, drop into the play-offs alongside top League B and C sides. Qualifying also decided promotion and relegation for the next Nations League.

A total of 32 teams will qualify from six confederations and the inter-confederation play-offs: Europe (11 slots), Asia (6), Africa (4), North America/Central America/Caribbean (4), South America (3), Oceania (1), and three via the play-offs. Confirmed qualifiers include Brazil (hosts), Argentina, Colombia, New Zealand, Australia, China, South Korea, Japan, Philippines, North Korea, Algeria, Morocco, Cameroon and Malawi. The European play-offs will run from October to December 2026 in two rounds, with 32 teams competing across two paths for the final European spots and a place in the inter-confederation play-offs.
