Apple has announced AirPods 5, featuring industry-leading Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) in an open-ear design. The new earbuds deliver improved sound quality, hands-free Siri AI access, and Live Translation. Priced at $129, they are the most affordable AirPods with ANC.

A $149 version adds a Wireless Charging Case and longer battery life. Pre-orders start today, with availability on September 18. The AirPods 5 use a new multiport acoustic architecture and Adaptive EQ for richer sound.

They also feature Conversation Awareness and an improved Transparency mode.
