Linden Capital Partners and Audax Private Equity have sold Stat Lab Medical Products to Leica Biosystems, a subsidiary of Danaher, for undisclosed terms. Stat Lab provides pre-analytical consumables and equipment for pathology laboratories. The deal extends Leica Biosystems' pathology portfolio to cover specimen collection and preparation, alongside its existing staining, digital imaging and AI-enabled diagnosis offerings.

According to Leica Biosystems, the combined offering is designed to help pathology laboratories reduce variation and speed up histology workflows as they face rising case volumes, increasing complexity and staffing pressures. The company said the deal also supports its work with biopharma partners on precision cancer therapies. The transaction closed on September 28, 2026.
