vivo has officially launched its X300 Ultra smartphone globally, with the €2,000 price tag drawing mixed reactions from potential buyers. The device is now available on Amazon in select markets, including Spain where it launches April 24. The phone's premium positioning places it squarely in the Ultra flagship category, competing directly with offerings from other manufacturers.

According to recent poll results, the X300 Ultra has generated significant interest despite its high cost, though many consumers are waiting to see what Oppo's Find X9 Ultra brings to the table when it launches globally on April 21. The X300 Pro, priced at €1,400, has struggled to gain traction, capturing less than 4% of the vote. While the Ultra offers superior specifications including a larger 1/1.12" main sensor and bigger 6,400mAh battery for European markets, the €600 premium appears to be a sticking point for many potential buyers.

Approximately 20% of voters consider the X300 Ultra too expensive, looking instead at non-vivo alternatives. The competition is heating up, with the Oppo Find X9 Pro positioned at €100 less than the X300 Pro. vivo's decision to give this Ultra model a global release marks a strategic shift, and the company has already sent review units to media outlets for comprehensive testing.
