New code references in iOS 27 beta reveal that Focus Mode is going to look a little different on the iPhone Duo lock screen. As discovered by regular iOS beta code sleuth "pdfu," on the iPhone Duo, the lock screen's Focus Mode button lets you turn the feature on and off. At present, that button takes you into the Focus Mode settings instead.
The present button is also a wide one with an icon followed by a text label saying what the Focus Mode is. On the iPhone Duo, the text label is gone and only the icon is displayed. This is all on the outer screen when locked. When unlocked, that same outer screen will now display the Focus Mode icon above the clock.
These are all very small adjustments that are required because of the iPhone Duo having a smaller, more squat outer screen. But if it's correct that making that button a one tap on/off control, that's handy. It's more than likely that pdfu is correct in all of this.
