Apple is reportedly preparing a significant expansion into the smart home market, leveraging advancements in Siri AI. This renewed focus is expected to manifest in several new and updated hardware releases, slated to arrive between October 2026 and early 2027.

Central to this strategy is the enhanced Siri AI, which will power a new wave of smart home devices. The lineup is rumored to include an updated HomePod mini, priced at $129, featuring an improved chip to better support Siri AI capabilities. Alongside this, a new Apple TV is anticipated, also incorporating an upgraded chip for enhanced AI performance, with an expected price of $199.

The most significant addition is the rumored 'Home Hub.' This entirely new device is described as a central smart home control unit, boasting a roughly seven-inch-square screen. Its envisioned functionalities include FaceTime video conferencing, an intercom system, and home security monitoring, positioning it as a comprehensive hub for connected living.
