Apple reported $111.2 billion in revenue for its fiscal second quarter, marking its best March quarter ever. The tech giant posted earnings per share of $2.01, up 22% year over year, beating analyst expectations. CEO Tim Cook noted "extraordinary demand" for the iPhone 17 lineup, which drove iPhone revenue to a March-quarter record while Services reached a new all-time high.

The company generated more than $28 billion in operating cash flow during the quarter. Apple's board authorized an additional $100 billion share repurchase program and raised the quarterly dividend to $0.27 per share, a 4% increase. The dividend will be paid on May 14 to shareholders of record as of May 11. Earnings grew faster than revenue, showing Apple's cost structure held as the business expanded.

Growth occurred across every geographic segment, validating the iPhone 17 lineup's market reception. Cook told Reuters the "demand was off the charts," though supply chain constraints limited their ability to meet it fully. The company maintained its capital return strategy, prioritizing buybacks and dividends over shifting spending to new initiatives. Services and the installed base continue to grow, giving Apple more users to reach with services, upgrades, and accessories.
