A new rumor from Macworld reveals Apple is developing four colors for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The lineup reportedly includes Light Blue, Dark Cherry, Silver, and Dark Gray options. Light Blue will resemble the current mist blue of the base iPhone 17, while Dark Cherry is described as a deep wine-like red rather than a bright fruit punch color.

This isn't the first time we've heard about Apple's red-like iPhone 18 Pro development. Bloomberg previously reported Apple was considering a deep red option, and leaker Digital Chat Station mentioned a burgundy color in October. Today's leak clarifies that the Dark Cherry will be muted and subdued rather than flashy like the current cosmic orange iPhone 18 Pro. The Pantone codes suggest it leans more purple than red.

The report also notes Apple will discontinue the cosmic orange color option, despite its popularity. Design changes include a smaller Dynamic Island cutout and reduced gap between the glass back and camera bump. Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro in September alongside its first-ever foldable iPhone.
