A month after launching its GPU Shield 12v-2×6 power cable monitoring solution in the US, Cooler Master has released the safety accessory in the EU. It is priced at €29.99, significantly lower than the $49.99 price in the US. However, the warranty period has been reduced from three years in the US and China to just two years in the EU.
This two-year warranty barely exceeds the EU's legally mandated minimum but remains longer than the one-year warranty offered for the international version. The GPU Shield adaptor cable is available directly from Cooler Master’s EU store and is not yet listed on third-party retailers like Amazon. Aside from pricing and warranty differences, the product remains unchanged for EU markets.
It retains the same 200 mm adaptor cable length, indicator LED, colored insertion depth indicator, and active protection feature that reduces power across the 12v-2×6 connector to prevent cable meltdown risks.
