Reed سيشارك في Open de España من الخميس، وهو أول ظهور له منذ أن withdrew during the second round of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth last month. 36-year-old - aiming to suivre les traces de compatriote Collin Morikawa، who won the Race to Dubai في 2021 - is around 300 points clear of McIlroy avec cinq événements DP World Tour restants. McIlroy لا يلعب في إسبانيا هذا الأسبوع، mais est prévu pour apparaître au DP World India Championship in New Delhi من 15 أكتوبر.
Reed a topped the standings depuis février après victoires au Hero Dubai Desert Classic et Qatar Masters, encadrant une défaite au play-off du Bahrain Championship. الفرصة来到 هنا، pas فقط pour jouer sur ce tour، mais aussi pour gagner la Race to Dubai، يعني "كثيرًا"..
