OnePlus reaffirmed its commitment to India after exiting North America and Europe, continuing smartphone launches in the country.

Following the N6x launch last month, tipster Yogesh Brar posted on X that OnePlus plans a new budget smartphone in India. The device reportedly will be 4G-only, could debut as early as next month, and may be the brand's final launch of 2024.

Brar didn't share specs, but the phone could be an N-series entry serving as a lower-end, 4G-only variant of the N6x. The N6x features a Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, 7,000mAh battery, 6.8-inch LCD, and 13MP rear camera.

Current N6x pricing starts at ₹20,999 for 64GB/4GB RAM and ₹22,999 for 128GB/4GB RAM.
