The iPhone's Always-On Display keeps your Lock Screen dimmed but visible, showing time, notifications, and widgets without unlocking. If your Always-On Display turns off, first ensure it's enabled in Settings > Display & Brightness > Always On Display.

Common causes include Low Power Mode and Focus modes like Sleep Focus. To fix Low Power Mode, toggle it off via Control Center or Settings > Battery > Power Mode. Disable Sleep Focus by opening Control Center, tapping Focus, and turning off Schedule under Sleep settings.

Other triggers include Car Play sessions, Continuity Camera use, and face-down positioning. Clean your front-facing camera and adjust Raise to Wake settings if needed. Restarting your iPhone can also resolve temporary issues.
