الiPad الحالي من مستوى الدخول من Apple، نموذج A16، لم يُحدَّث لأكثر من عام ولا يدعم Apple Intelligence. Previously rumored for an A18 chip, delays are attributed to an industry-wide memory crisis. Apple recently raised the base iPad price from $349 to $449.
New leaks suggest the upcoming model will feature the A19 chip, 8GB of memory for basic Siri AI, and the N1 networking chip. It will also introduce Wi-Fi 7 support via the C1X modem on cellular versions. While memory upgrades enable some AI features, advanced local models still require 12GB.
The device is expected to maintain the current design with possible new color options, but likely lacks USB 3 improvements. Rumors suggest a potential rebranding similar to the MacBook Neo. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the release is slated for next Spring, coinciding with other product launches like the M6 MacBook Air.
