Cadillac have replaced their founding team principal Graeme Lowdon with former Alpine boss Marcin Budkowski. Lowdon, 61, had set up the American team from scratch for its Formula 1 debut this year. Chief executive officer Dan Towriss said removing Lowdon had been his decision, based on the future direction of the team, not directly related to recent reliability problems. "The time for that change came sooner than was expected," Towriss said. "There's a very narrow window of opportunity... what I didn't want to do was build something that's already been done."

Budkowski, 49, was at Renault's F1 team from 2017-22 and previously ran the technical department of the FIA. At Cadillac, he joins former colleague Nick Chester. Budkowski said his focus will be on aligning people, tools, and information flow so that performance improves every race. Cadillac have yet to score a point in the first 11 races of the season with drivers Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas. The team operates from buildings opposite Silverstone, plus facilities in Michigan and North Carolina, with a future base in Indiana.
