The league levied a substantial penalty against Timberwolves big man Naz Reid, issuing a $50,000 fine for his post-game comments questioning the integrity of game officials following Minnesota’s narrow 110-108 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Elsewhere, the title chase for the Warriors faces delays as star guard Stephen Curry remains sidelined; league sources confirm he will miss an additional two contests due to his lingering knee ailment, extending his absence to a minimum of 25 consecutive games.
