NBA Player Personnel Updates
The Wizards confirmed that point guard Trae Young will miss an indefinite period due to a combination of lingering injuries, sidelining the floor general ahead of Saturday’s contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In better news for contenders, Denver is expecting forward Peyton Watson to rejoin the lineup Sunday against Portland after he spent over six weeks sidelined nursing a hamstring strain. Meanwhile, off-court matters are occupying Luka Dončić, as the Mavericks star has filed documentation seeking dismissal of a custody petition initiated by his ex-fiancée concerning child support payments and attorney's fees related to their ongoing case.
